Sebo x4 flashing and stuck in raised position
« on: December 23, 2019, 08:18:55 AM »
Hi, I have sebo x4. It seems to be stuck in the raised position and the check brush and bag clog lights are flashing red. I have checked thoroughly for clogs (and removed one) and have replaced the filters but itís still stuck and flashing.
Any ideas?

Take the hood off the motor housing and see if the little round magnet that sits at the side of the pivoting air path has fallen out, I've had strange behavior from that happening before!

Failing which, it could be a main board or another fault.

If you need it fixing Pietree, we offer that service: National Sebo Vacuum Repair.

You'd send the base unit and handle and flex only. The reason we ask for the handle and flex is we routinely shorten the cable by 2-3" on every Sebo repair as that solves the next thing to go wrong with it before it does.  ;)
