I got another cleaner from Marketplace. This time decided to go back to Dyson. I must say I was really tempted to try it out after watching ibaisaic's review.
This one was sold as spares or repairs as it apparently cuts off.
I cleaned the cleaner head. Wiped the cyclone and bin. Was hoping not to dismantle it but I had to get new filters as old pre motor was literally heavy and had solid dirt inside that I couldn't take out. After quick run in my house new filter is already dirty so as I assume the cyclone needs to be cleaned.
Same with post motor filter, there's also noticeably dust on it.
It's really hard to manouvre on hard floors though. It just simply doesn't want to turn. Is this normal on this model? On carpets though I can't feel it lifting the carpet even on the MAX. Despite cleaning the brushroll it takes few passes to clean pet hair or fluff from carpet. It's like it was kinda floating on it. Is this normal?
Another thing that I'm not sure about is the noise. I don't think it's normal but I can't tell for sure..
