Dc41 brush bar not turning
« on: July 07, 2020, 07:45:48 PM »
My dc41 brush ba isn't turning.

With the head removed and cleaner reclined I get a reading of 322vdc at the cleaner outputs... which I gather is healthy.

There is no continuity across the head but I don't know whether there should be?

Are there any further tests I can do to confirm the head?

Can the heads be serviced or do I have to replace the entire head ?

Thanks

Brett

In that case i would fit a new head motor.
They can be replaced, you will need torx screwdrivers.
The only way to fail is not to try.
