Dyson V6 - Brush bar only spinning when unit is held upright?

Hi guys,

My Dyson V6 brush bar has started to only spin when the unit is held upright. If the unit is angled, it causes the brush bar to stop spinning. Please see below video of the issue itself:

I have tried the following solutions without success:

- Checking for blockages
- Cleaning brush bar and motorhead
- Washing the filter
- Cleaning the electrical contacts
- Testing all other attachments (they all appear to work)

Could anyone offer any advice on how to fix this?

That could be a break in the internal wires inside the part that hinges on the motorised head. It would be an unusual fault if so.

Possibly, probably even, but I couldn't say for certain without inspecting it.
