V8 Absolute brush heads stop spinning
« on: January 20, 2021, 11:55:01 AM »
Good afternoon,
We have had this for about 3 yrs and in the last year we have had the following issue.

When we use any head, regardless if it's on the pole, when we hoover it stops spinning.
It happens when we pull the hoover back, not when we push it.
Power and batter hold is fine.
We have cleaned it throughly as per instructions online and it does not help.

I wonder if it is to do with the connectors at the main unit end where you attach the head/pole as it seems wobbly?

Any suggestions to save forking out for a new one?
It has not been used that much (only for stairs) hence would rather fix!
Many thanks

I can only assume by what you have described that the connections are loose. If you hold the machine off the floor and wiggle the connections whilst it is switched on, does the head cut in and out then?
