Dyson V6 Absolute Cyclones
« on: June 02, 2021, 11:11:08 AM »
Good Morning,

I hope all are well and enjoying the weather.

I have a Dyson V6 Absolute UK Spec model that has a missing cyclone unit,  so I have the motor body, wand, head unit,  just missing the Cyclone and the 2 filters.

Is it possible for me to add any type of V6 Cyclone onto a V6 Absolute?   I know that the connectors for the wand/bin etc can vary from one V6 to another,  which Dyson did so the user cannot use a V6 Absolute wand/Head on a standard V6 for example.

Can I retrofit any type of V6 Cyclone onto this V6 Absolute motor unit?        Another question,  am I correct in thinking that you can use the V6 Absolute without the back filter in place?

Many thanks in advance

No, they are moulded slightly differently to prevent that.

Duly corrected.
