DC33 & DC27.. Almost the same machine
« on: February 07, 2012, 09:55:07 PM »
I'm looking at replacing my dc07 and was looking at a dc27 or dc33 and they seem VERY similar apart from the see through bit around the dc27 brush bar, I was also put off the dc33 because of the plastic wand and it looked too small to be a main cleaner for my house and the bin is also very small, is the dc27 the same size (can't find any on display in shops) and does it have the plastic wand?

Thanks
DC07 finally died! Replaced with a DC14 which is better than the DC07 ever was.

The DC27 seemed to be a bit of a non-starter.

We have had a few in for simple repairs, replaced motors on a few, but we have had difficulty sourcing some parts for them - even from Dyson.

True, I also seldom (if ever) see them on display anywhere. The DC33 seems to have leapfrogged it.
