I've stripped my DC01 down to replace the motor (NOS arriving on Monday I hope), but found that a felt washer about 1" diameter has fallen out in the process.
Now I haven't a clue where this goes (OOPS). so any help is much appreciated. Also which way round does it go?
Thanks
Dave

Never mind, I found where it went inside the brush roller. So, problem solved. New motor fitted - much quieter and no smoke.
Thanks
