We are down to our last handful of these, and we likely wont be getting any more as they have gone up by about 7 since we bought these.

I'm sorry, but these machines will never be as good as a Numatic Henry. Considering you can get a Henry for the same price, and it's much better built, and more reliable. Plus they're made in the UK!!

I think this is a Numatic NRV 200 in blue with a tool ring at the top if you really look at it :P
Nrv20 is a Henry with a bigger bucket (that big bumper ring around the base)
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

It's nearly an A1 toolkit but the hose to machine end is different, the bent end is different, as are the small tools slightly (seem to be the older ribbed style from the early-mid 90's). Seems to be a slight kink on the ends of the extension tubes too.

Floorbrush look like the Numatic ones though!

Come on Tayyb thought you would know this!  :coffee:

Lol Sam, I do know, but I thought the metal handle is a bit dodgy, tools are shiny, wands are shinier like a  mirror. You are right about the hose to machine end, I didnt spot that, its a big "longer" I assume
But Im not a Numatic expert tho lol :P

Yes, we did a few. We got one in only recently for a lady as well that had one before and wanted another.

But we try this stuff experimentally, as we did with these machines which we then found design faults on so withdrew them.

The tub ones are alright though, as the engineering is copied from similar to Numatics and Henrys. Are we cheap on them? Probably we are OK, but I doubt we are the cheapest now. I haven't bothered to check. If you want some in the trade I'll try to do a price as I know the bloke who imports them.  :coffee:

Generally, people come to us for Dysons and Dyson bits. For other general new stuff widely available they will shop around and buy on price point only. Buy a Dyson only on price and it'll last a week as we all know.

Harder to compare us like-for-like with other Dyson suppliers as everyone builds machines to a different standard, has different guarantees, uses different couriers, different suppliers, selling platforms, etc. Like with parts, you cant compare us like-for-like, as we sell some stuff nobody else does, get a lot from recommendation, we mix new, used and recon, we sell what actually works which might not be the cheapest (we only sell good non gen stuff and not the cheap crap), we have lots of obsolete stuff, etc. So people don't always shop Dyson with us on only price point, it might be availability, better product, better service level, better compatibility/back up info, confidence in specialisation and spiffy tutorials, etc.

I think I'll stick to Dyson for now though. With Dyson stuff we can compete with others on every level. On stuff like these tub machines, on a retail basis, less so.

Ah fair enough. Would be rude not to try different things as you already have the footfall!

I remember seeing that stick vac thread when I used to lurk! What was wrong with it in the end? (Appreciate if you don't want to say as you sold some)

That Hoover upright machine had issues with the lock on the removable handle. A small thing, but every one we sold we ended up sending out handles for. So we ditched them.

Was that the AS26 orange and silver Dyson and Hoover mixed together?

I gather it was a Hoover machine that had to be sold here unbranded for some legal reason. In Australia they were badged as Hoover.
