DC05 Motor Head Telescopic extension pole
« on: November 03, 2012, 04:25:55 PM »

I have a DC05 Motor Head and have a problem with the telescopic extension pole. The problem is when you are vacuuming the extension pole begins to close. It's almost like it longer locks into place it need just a little amount of pressure before it starts to close.

Does anybody know of a way to fix other that permanently fixing this into its extended position.

I believe the replacement part is around 50.00 !

It is broken where indicated inside.

Parts are not obtainable for them, and they are thin on the ground used to cannibalise. So it needs replacing.

The one you see in the photo is used and 25 inc courier delivery. If you wanted it, >contact us here<.

I have also a problem with my telescope extension.

I hope it is ok, that I don't open a new thread.

The tube detached from the handle.
Is it possible to open it so I can put it together again?
