Another one!
« on: May 07, 2013, 10:52:02 am »
Good Morning dyson friends!

After browsing ebay for a couple of hours I came across a dc07 ending in 40 minutes for spares and repairs! I won it for 16.02, ooooppppps another one for my collection :D

The description states does not switch on when button pressed, my first guess is the wire has broken where it enters the dyson. If this is the case I have a dc07 genuine cable, switch, and ydk motor spare so what ever this new one needs I have when it comes to the electrical comonents.

Looks pretty skanked up, would anyone be interested if I did a load of pictures of the restoration of it?

My iPads battery died half way, I've ordered a hose from you guys tonight as it needs replacing, come up very nicely though. It needed the mains cable replacing and a new filter as the old one was so bad it had actually started to disintegrate. :s cyclone was totally blocked down the middle, properly the worse one ive ever seen. But it's sorted apart from hose and maybe a new belt as it feels abit slippy.

Here's some pics of it :)
