DC25 floating head problem!
« on: July 02, 2013, 06:48:39 PM »
Hi,
Anyone heard of a problem with the head not lying down flat on the floor when the red bar is pressed? The head seems to hang an inch off the floor and flop around like a dead fish! I am sure it is just something that just needs clipping back in. There doesn't seem to be any blockages in any of the pipes that I can see if that might make a difference.
Help!

Have a look at this bit arrowed below:

That swivels by the side of the machine as it is reclined. Sometimes something can be obstructing its progress - sometimes the cable has come out of its channel and that can stop it.

Thanks. I've looked again and can see a black bit next to the ball that has come unscrewed for some reason. I shall crack on!
