my experience with the dyson dc41mk2
« on: January 04, 2015, 02:04:08 am »
so what does everyone think of the new 41 mk2 from my personal experiences is the best dyson dyson has done it feels really like it's gonna last and cleans carpets really really well feels like it's going to last compared to what they used to do a few years ago personal is the best dyson i've ever had. it fell down the stairs and it was absolutely.i think dyson has finally learnt from their mistakes compared to the old 41.the old 41 had lots ofproblems and ots of design faults but this model finally feels like it's going to last and it looks like they have fixed all the problems i know a lot of people here don't like the new dysons what i feel dyson are finally making progress.and it's gonna be amazing when the new dc75 comes out it uses the kinetic cyclone so it doesn't have a filter and never loses suction and what people say about the canisters they haven't had any problems yet.to what other repair places say that it haven't suffered any problems so hopefully the new upright is the same as it looks very good and it looks like it doesn't have any filters to wash so on more repairs with clogs filters.thanks for listening as i'm new to this site that has lots of experience with and my real name is josh i accidentally put the wrong name in.

How are you aware that the MK2 DC41 differs to the original?

Are you The Josh I think you are? Cos I am Tayyab :) lol hi if you know me
Guess what, I had a play with the DC55 and DC41 m,2 in Currys today and omg.
I had my friends dc41 last year for repair for a week, so had a brief go at it. It was okay, but dc04 was better. The new dc41 mk2 feels more improved. All weaknesses are gone. The pull back feature is stiffer, so the machine can be wheeled. You can step on the cleaner head like a wheeled one. It feels more sturdier and durable! I want one. The adjustment thing at the front is a rubber lip for sealing in suction. The active base plate has carbon fibre strips around it so it can work well on hard floors and also not scratch. The bristles are VERY stiff. Like a DC40 and the brushbar spins 20% faster. This vacuum beats the carpets like the old hoovers and makes rice bounce in the carpet. The suction at the cleaner head is amazing because it lifts carpets, thick or thin like a dc07 origin.

In conclusion,  I am being honest, I like the older Dysons better than the newer ones. DC01/04/07/14 being my fav along with the dc08, but the dc41 MK2 is amazing considering its one of the newer ones. Dc33 is okay but too plasticy.
