Gotta be honest: I've never found what you write, at all boring. The majority of it is helpful & informative.

 :censored:

RE my old Bendix compact 7159 washing machine with leaky door seal.

So thanks to Beko I found someone on the auto washer forum with one for sale

He sent photo's, yes that's the one, he only wanted £5 + postage

Asked him to get a total price and I would send payment

He asked if I could pay via a bank transfer, I said yes if he told me how to do it

That was last week, nothing from him since  :angryman:

OK something could have happened, thing do but it's not the first time things like this has happened, why do people do this?  If he's had a better offer why not just tell me?  :angryman:

Your right: It's possible that something happened, but maybe he decided he could get more for it.
People like that really piss me off.
Will start asking around for you, can't promise anything but will give it a good shot .

No probs: I know at least 1 of the guys has a garage full of old appliance parts, they're all new old stock so will try him first & let you know. All I have to do is convince him to let me into the garage   :icon_nod:. None of us have been in there since his dad died 2 years ago.

Sorry mate, not as yet. We only managed to get through about a third of what's in there, it has to be pulled out carefully & gone through box by box. I honestly didn't realise how much we'd packed in there. We were supposed to go back today but he got called into work so will be Monday before we get back in there.

No probs mate, you know what it's like: No matter where you start, the bit you need is always in the last box you look in ::) & I have to be honest when the shop was cleared it was just box everything up & get it into the storage unit, no thought or method.

For Madrat: Sorry mate, so far no luck. We've probably got about another 20 boxes to go through later in the week & that's it finished. Actually found a pump for an old hotpoint toploader that I needed 6 months ago & he told me wasn't there, but not what we were looking for.

Never mind, I appreciate you looking.  I will order one from Germany, £28 with postage.  Might need a stiff drink by the time I finished with the German web site, I didn't do German at school, I had to do French  :angryman:
