Hi guys I might buy a refurb Dyson Cinetic as it is cheaper (Refurb by dyson) It has 2 years warranty and just wondering if they are worth it. Do they eventually clog ? Could they no just make the cyclones all rubber instead of the bottom half rubber.

Just wondering.

If I was going to buy a new one for myself, I'd have a Sebo instead.

Are your referring to the DC75 Upright?

I have a DC41 Mk2 which is similar, the cyclones do a good job of keeping the filter clean. They are really powerful at the cleaner head. The brushbar is powerful and so is the suction. It grooms and beats well like oldie Hoover bagged uprights which is fantastic. A Sebo is also a good choice but I haven't used one. It is designed for commercial and domestic environments so it's more reliable there. It depends what exactly you want really. Features and sleek modern design & good performance performance or a robust, professional tank also with good performance.

Both have fantastic filtration

Both have stretch hoses and extra tools

The Sebo can lay flat to go under beds whereas the DC75 has a ball to get into corners and around furniture quicker

The Sebo Felix range also has ball like maneuverability. In fact, Sebo did that first.

The last DC75 we sold the woman brought it back the next day and went off with a DC33 instead.

Oh yh forgot about the Felix, I want one of them and an X4

I have lost respect for the DC33 sadly, they just seem crap IMHO if used in a big family home (filters get dirty quickly and loses suction quickly being a main flaw) and in use they are really flexible vs my 41 which surprisingly feels more solid when being pushed around in use :/ It's like kind of like Vax copied a DC14 and produced the DC33.

I know the DC33 and DC14 use the same cyclone technology, but I'm not sure how much longer the DC14 suction would last vs a DC33 as I normally clean my machines up every month or so
