The World's #1 Vacuum Cleaner Advice, Repair, Discussion & Information Forum
hello first post, very good info on this site but can't find an exact answerIve recently bought a DC15 to test against my DC07 which performs flawlessly.I was looking for a newer model as i wanted to test if dyson had improved the suction in the newer models, gaol is to get the best suction from a dyson in a model they produced.Ive always liked the design of the DC15 and being as its not too far apart year wise from the DC07 i though it would be a good test as its quite close design wise to a DC14 which has the same motor as the 07ive tested both machines on a large rug long pile DC15 first and seemed not to have much suck power but still picked up fluff and some debris, then after the complete rug hoovered the DC07 was used and felt much more powerful and picked up a lot of fine dust and fluff left over from the DC15.Only part i have not changed is the filter that sits under the bin(pre motor) i can't see this making a huge different in airflow restriction or does it?Or is it that the DC07 is one of the best dysons for suction? Thanks in advance
Or is it that the DC07 is one of the best dysons for suction?

My DC14 is also good suction but nothing beats the DC07 when it comes to suction.
