Dyson big ball turbo head belt pulley part?
« on: May 31, 2019, 11:20:14 am »
Good morning all, our turbo head had the usual trapped hair in the clutch assembly part that fits inside the brush and spins it. Unfortunately before I caught it it was so bad it snapped the drive piece of the cog/pulley part. I will add some pictures below but does anyone know the part numbers I would need to replace the broken parts? I have searched online for the past few hours with no luck.

Internal parts are not available, you want a part cleaner head.

Morning chaps and thank you for the replies with regards to the warranty I will check as I had completely forgot about that. @Mvacs are you saying those parts are not available to buy as spares?

So my options are buy a used head for parts or get a new head unless it is still under warranty and covered....

Cheers

Indeed.

You can buy the part cleaner head for that model as well sans the soleplate and brush roll. It is the ERP one you want, same as ERP versions on the DC40, 41 and 55.

If you email the shop with a link to this topic, we probably have the parts you want used at reasonable money. I’d check but I’m out of town at the moment.
