testing parts off the machine
« on: January 19, 2023, 12:23:05 pm »
just got a load of spares in from someone who packed it in, mainly motors and clutches, is there a way to check the clutches manually as i dont fancy putting each one in a machine to see if they work also i take it the bech test for the motor is a staight 240? ( i usually know the motor is working as i've taken it from a working machine myself so havent needed to bench test until now)  cheers

As long as its a mains motor and not a brush roll motor, just mains to them.

Clutches you can check by hand, one position the belts are locked relative to each other, the other position, not.

We can always use old clutches you don't want. See here.
