Hi all - hopefully someone can help.
My parents have a Dyson V6 Absolute that has developed an issue. The filters and all potential places for blockages have been cleared and cleaned.
The Dyson goes on charge and the blue light is solid, so no issues so far.
They leave it in the charger for a few hours and the blue light goes out (I assume as its fully charged)
As soon as they take it out of the charger and press the trigger to run the Dyson the motor spins but then cuts out immediately (i.e. not longer than 1 second) and the blue light goes to a solid amber that then turns into a blue flashing light, indicating it needs to be charged again?
They don't have a meter to check outputs and my research indicates the problem could be one of two issues?
First a new battery required and the second a motor housing?
How do you tell what the issue is as fixing one is possibly acceptable but replacing both probably means its in the bin?
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks in advance
