Sebo x7 pedal position

I purchased a used Sebo x7 and from all the reading it appeared that the X7 handle goes flat to the floor like my old X4.  The handle on this X7 does NOT go flat to the floor, it stops midway.  And yet on this forum, the question was asked if the X7 handle could be MADE to stop midway like an X4.  The answer was no.  The info appears to be conflicting.  I've searched many places to discover if the X7 handle can be made to go flat but has of yet found no certain answer. Would appreciate any response.

If you bought it used, I am wondering if someone has used older parts on it.

The X7, doesn't have the feature that X4s had whereby you could stop the machine reclining totally flat. They all recline totally flay by default.

Look at the back of the machine where the pedal is, can you see something physically stopping it?
