Dyson DC28: Roller brush is not moving
« on: March 30, 2012, 09:16:29 pm »
Help me please!
Dyson 28, 2 years old.
The red on/off button flashing, roller brush clean and not moving, and no blockage can be found where the manual tells you to look.
I resetted the power button, washed filters, clean up everything inside of hoses.
I can use the vacuum only with hand-held brushes, but as soon as I try to use the main head, red light start flashing.
Any advice will be helpfull.

The DC28 is a US market model that we don't have here.

However, the info we have suggests it is likely to do with the digital control panel inside. If the machine is under warranty, Dyson will repair it for you free of charge. If you call Dyson customer service in the US on 1866MYDYSON, they will give you the number of your local approved repairer.
