From time to time, people contact us who are not familiar with online shopping.

If that is you, and you are unsure how to use our shop or checkout, this tutorial is for you.

Lets say you want to buy a new washable filter for your DC07.

You have three ways of finding the part you want, it doesn't matter which one you use:

You can hover over the text that says "Dyson Upright Vacuum Cleaner Spare Parts" and a menu will drop down, in it you will see "Dyson DC07 Spare Parts" - click that to go to the DC07 parts page..............




Or you can scroll down the page and simply click on the model of machine you have to go the page for your machine............





When you are on the parts page, look for what you need in the list............






The image above shows you what is called "grid" layout. If you prefer to see the parts in a vertical list, you can do that too. Just click "List" here..........





If you prefer, you can use the search bar. Start typing in what you want and our predictive search bar will probably show it to you..............just click on it





If it doesn't, hit the magnifying glass icon for a deeper search.

When you have found the part you want, you need to add it to your basket.

Sometimes, there will be a choice of items; colour for example. In this case it is new or recycled. Make the selection using the drop down menu and then click the "Add to Basket" button.





Now you have been taken to the shopping basket.

If you want something else, click the "Continue Shopping" button to go back, use the search bar again, or click the banner to go back to the parts shop homepage.





If you want to change the quantities of something, type it in the box and hit the blue circular arrow icon to update the shopping basket. If you want to take something out, click the red "X". 

When you have everything you want in your shopping basket, it is time to check out.

If you are a Paypal user and are familiar with Paypal, you can use Paypal Express Checkout.

If you want to use a credit or debit card, click the "Checkout with a Card" button.

If you encounter any technical difficulty during these stages, it is probably because you are using an old version of Microsoft Internet Explorer that is no longer supported by some sites. We recommend that you instead use >>Google Chrome<< or >>Mozilla Firefox<< which in our opinion are far superior.
